Cycle: 30 hours per year (annual cycle)
Renewal: 30 November

Psychologists must complete 30 hours of CPD each registration year, including at least 10 hours of peer consultation.

Registration year: 1 December to 30 November; AHPRA registration renewal is 30 November.

Psychologists complete 30 hours of CPD each annual registration period, including peer consultation.

Category and topic requirements

Peer consultation (minimum 10 hours): At least 10 hours must be peer consultation.
Scope-relevant CPD: The remainder should be relevant CPD aligned to the practitioner's scope of practice.

Caveats

Provisional psychologists, registrars, supervisors, and area-of-practice endorsement pathways may have additional requirements outside the default 30 hour CPD profile.
Peer consultation should be recorded distinctly from other CPD activity.
