Cycle: 20 hours per year (annual cycle)
Renewal: 30 November

Podiatrists must generally complete 20 hours of CPD each registration year and maintain CPR evidence, with extra requirements possible for surgeons and endorsements.

Registration year: 1 December to 30 November; AHPRA registration renewal is 30 November.

Category and topic requirements

Different CPD activity categories: CPD should include more than one activity type where required by Podiatry Board guidance.
Scope-relevant CPD: The 20 hour default does not map to fixed CPDKeep category minimums.

Standalone requirements

CPR certificate: Maintain current CPR training that meets Podiatry Board guidance, including required emergency-response components where applicable. Cadence: Annual unless Board guidance or the certificate requires a different interval.

Caveats

Podiatric surgeons and practitioners with scheduled medicines endorsements can have additional CPD hours beyond the default 20 hour profile.
CPR and endorsement requirements should be checked against the practitioner's registration type and Board guidance.
