Podiatrist
20 hours
- Cycle
- 20 hours per year (annual cycle)
- Renewal
- 30 November
Podiatrists must generally complete 20 hours of CPD each registration year and maintain CPR evidence, with extra requirements possible for surgeons and endorsements.
Registration year: 1 December to 30 November; AHPRA registration renewal is 30 November.
Podiatrists complete at least 20 hours of CPD each registration year.
Category and topic requirements
- Different CPD activity categories: CPD should include more than one activity type where required by Podiatry Board guidance.
- Scope-relevant CPD: The 20 hour default does not map to fixed CPDKeep category minimums.
Standalone requirements
- CPR certificate: Maintain current CPR training that meets Podiatry Board guidance, including required emergency-response components where applicable. Cadence: Annual unless Board guidance or the certificate requires a different interval.
Caveats
- Podiatric surgeons and practitioners with scheduled medicines endorsements can have additional CPD hours beyond the default 20 hour profile.
- CPR and endorsement requirements should be checked against the practitioner's registration type and Board guidance.
Podiatry requirement data is a default CPDKeep setup summary and should be confirmed against Podiatry Board resources for surgery, endorsement, CPR, and audit obligations.
