Category and topic requirements

Caveats
- If registered part-way through a registration period, the standard sets a pro-rata requirement of seven and a half hours for every three months of registration remaining in the period.
- Planning and reflection time does not count towards the 30 CPD hours.
- CPD records must be maintained for five years.
- The Board's page noted CPD and recency standards were under public consultation on 3 July 2026; this record reflects the current effective standard at that review date.
Paramedicine requirement data is provided for CPDKeep setup and tracking only. Paramedics should confirm current Paramedicine Board guidance for audit evidence, exemptions, and pro-rata obligations.
