Chiropractors must complete 20 hours of CPD each registration year and maintain first aid, including CPR, in line with Board guidance.

Registration year: 1 December to 30 November; AHPRA registration renewal is 30 November.

Category and topic requirements

Scope-relevant CPD: The standard does not set a fixed CPDKeep category split for the 20 hour total.

Standalone requirements

First aid including CPR: Maintain first aid training including CPR in line with Chiropractic Board guidance.

Caveats

Planning and reflection support a CPD portfolio but should not be counted towards the 20 hour total where Board guidance excludes them.
First aid and CPR renewal intervals should be checked against the current certificate and Board FAQ.
